Ion6.com is a new website/blog hybrid that compiles content and opinions in one easy to find place for users. There are many ways to advertise on Ion6.com, and during the beta period, special pricing will be available.
Banner Ads:
A custom banner ad can be purchased to display on the site. Banner ads can be displayed next to the logo and on the home page, or above each article. Because banner ads are hosted by Ion6.com, most ad blocking software will not remove the ads, leading to more impressions and clicks. One month of banner display above articles is $15 USD, two months are $25, and three months are $30. One month of banner display next to the logo and on the home page can be added for an extra $5 per month. All banners will need to be 468 x 60 pixels. You will be given a breakdown of impressions and clicks at the end of every week. Banner ads cannot contain any questionable content (including adult, gambling, and illegal content), or link to a website that does. All banner ads will be approved before going live. After the banner has been approved and payment is confirmed, the ad will go live within 24 hours. Banner ads will have a “nofollow” tag to ensure compliance with Google policy.
Text Ads:
Text ads can be purchased for placement on every page of Ion6.com. Text ads are purchased at a rate of $0.10 per 1,000 impressions and $0.10 CPC. For example, if a text ad has 10,000 impressions and 100 clicks, it would cost $1 for the impressions and $10 for the clicks ($11 total), for an average CPC of $0.11 (this is just an example; no guarantee is made as to the actual CPC). Text ads are paid for in advance ($5 minimum) and run until the amount of impressions and clicks equal the amount paid for. At that time, you will be sent a report with the impression and click breakdown for your ad. Text ads, like banner ads, cannot contain any questionable content, or link to a website that does. All text ads will be approved before going live. After the text has been approved and payment is confirmed, the ad will go live within 24 hours. As with banner ads, text ads will have a “nofollow” tag to ensure compliance with Google policy.
Sponsored Articles:
Articles can be purchased for a blog, website, or product. The article will be an honest assessment and review. The home page of the site will be linked to, as well as specific pages on the website (2-5 more). The article will be at least 500 words. The article will be featured on the home page for a minimum of 24 hours, and remain in the archives for as long as the website exists in its current form (at least 1 year). Before payment is made, the blog, website, or product will be given a 1-10 rating and quick summary so that there is no confusion about what the tone of the article will be. No article will be written about content deemed questionable. The cost of an article is a onetime charge of $25. Again, sponsored articles will have a “nofollow” tag on all links.
